My life is taking a new format. I no longer work as an Experience Lead at Dare. I’m now a freelance IA/UX consultant.
It’s a big change. I was at Dare for 3 years and 8 months. The majority of my time in London in fact. I guess that’s why Dare feels a bit like my home over here. But, everyone’s got to leave home at some point and my time had come.
Doing my own thing has always been on my mind and the time was right to take the step and see what being a freelance has got in store for me.
Change is good. It teaches you new things and puts what you have into perspective. I’m already learning new things and I’m looking forward to getting my head around this new adventure, the networking side of it as much as the variation of projects that I’ll be on.
As for this blog I’ve been wanting to change it for some time. The next few months are going to be a trial of how to use it and as you can see I’ve change the theme. It’s got its flaws but it’s different and doing things differently is what my life is about at the moment. We’ll see where it takes me.
