Over the year I’ve written a fair bit about trusting your gut feeling and over the last few days, through work and non-work related situations, I’ve been reminded of listening to that inner feeling, and how important it is to stay true to what you believe in.
It’s different for everyone but I’m not very good at pretending to be someone I’m not, or to work for a cause I don’t agree with. My convictions and believes are quite strong and when I go against them the warning signs are there and they make sure I don’t fail to notice them.
On the opposite spectrum when things are right I feel it just as intensely and yesterday as I was having conversations with people about byflock and our products, worked through some of the tasks before Christmas and had a session with someone I’m really impressed with, those feelings came bubbling up to the surface.
It’s taken far longer than I hoped it would to have some time off for byflock, but I’m so happy that the time is finally here and I’m really looking forward to all the learnings and challenges that next year will bring. And to actually see our products out in the real world.
