Today was my last day working over at the BBC in the new Broadcasting House in central London. It’s been a part time contract running for a few months and it’s been great to work together with part of the old Olympics Team again as well as new people.
As a freelance I do miss being part of a team but I did spend just under 11 months over at the BBC, the longest contract I’ve had so far. Where ever we went inside Broadcasting House we would run into people that we knew already and it’s been absolutely lovely. And it’s the BBC. Coming from Sweden it is really British and once in a while it gave me a bit of that “wow, I work/worked at….” feeling that you sometimes get when you are somewhere that you’ve only dreamt about before. A feeling that every now and again hits me about living in London as well.
What I’m trying to say is that BBC feels a bit special. I did feel like part of the team during my close to 11 months there last year and earlier this year, and coming back has been a privilege. And the really good thing is, you never know when our paths might cross again.
