Yesterday I run my ‘Designing for multiple devices’ class a second time over at General Assembly here in London. It was another full class but with a few familiar faces in it and running that class absolutely made my evening.
Due to the games being on I was expecting the class to be less booked than normal, but it wasn’t. As with many things Olympics what London had anticipated has not been the case (travel nightmare – not so much) and to my delight the room was nearly full even before the class started. And it was a brilliant group.
One of the best things that have come out of me starting to freelance is that it’s made me get out there and get involved. I’ve met so many great people and learnt so much and on nights like last night the possibilities seem endless. Life is ours to do with it what we want and running the class yesterday reminded me more than anything of all the great opportunities and all of the great people out there who I’d really love to work with in one form or another in the future.
