Today it’s day 183 of this year and we have exactly 183 days left until 2012 becomes 2013. It’s the end of week 26 and half a year has passed since I made my decision official. The decision to make something tangible out of my ideas.
By now I’d imagined to have come a little further than what we have done but there is more than meets the eye. Without a doubt three things will be live before the end of this year and I’m arranging for the post summer push. At the moment I’m making the most of the situation and accepting that the tempo for byflock is slightly slower than what I would prefer it to be. But I know I don’t have to wait long for the tempo to be what I enjoy. The feeling is similar to training for a race and just waiting for it to start, though the start date is still a few weeks away. You’re trying to pace yourself and prepare the best you can. Every now and then the feeling of excitement and slight nervous anticipation comes over you.
It’s an exciting time as I start to prepare for autumn, making plans and arrangements. And it’s an exciting time to still be writing these posts. Just as I’d expected to be further by now I’d also expected these posts to be more about starting a company but as that is on a slower burn at the moment that’s reflected in these posts.
All things comes to those who wait and before I know it I’ll be sat with the first thing having gone live looking back at this time when I was still in the unknown of exactly when that would happen.
