There is a constant inner battle in me about Sweden and my future. Though moving back is not on the agenda I’ve been wanting to spend more time at home for a while and now it’s starting to look up.
A month and a bit ago a friend back home asked me if I’d be interested in coming over to do a breakfast seminar at her work place. Today I went in to have a chat with them and I’m pleased to say that a preliminary date at the end of August has been set. There are also friends of friends over in Copenhagen that are keen to talk about byflock from a very exciting point of view, and that is also being organised so hopefully there will be a few more trips over to Scandinavia this autumn.
Going home, though always fun, is not always as enjoyable as it’s quite hectic. I wrote about it on Day 126 | Frequent visits as a prerequisite for a stress free experience. Ever since I left Dare and working on the Sony Ericsson account which meant more trips back home due to the HQ being in Lund, I’ve been wanting to get back to a routine of more frequent visits. They did mean my non-working time was a little less intense and I’d like to have a bit of that everyday life experience that I haven’t had for so long but really am starting to miss. Plus I also want to check out the startup scene back home, explore opportunities with old friends and colleagues as well as keep my Danish going. So, expect a new Scandinavian packaging of me in the not so distant future.
