Day 131 | Imagery for these posts

I use Flickr for finding imagery for these posts and quite often I stumble across other images that spark an idea for a post topic, or like the above one, images that makes me want to write a post about a particular subject just so I can use it.

When I started writing these post finding the right picture took a little bit of time. Not that much but definitely more than what is currently the case. As with everything that you do over and over again I’ve become better at searching for and finding imagery that fits with my topics. I bookmark images that I see and feel could be useful in the future and that in itself also makes it easier to go back and quickly upload one to a post. Though the posts would work without them finding an image to go with it is a little like the icing on the cake for me. When I’m particularly happy with the one I’ve found it brings a little smile to my face. And until I’ve added an image to a post it doesn’t feel complete. Which I guess it isn’t.

As for the above image, besides the cat looking a bit like ours, I’d bookmarked it for a potential future post about things feeling like they are spinning around and you’d like to be put on solid ground. I may very well use it again if that day comes, which I’m guessing in one form or another it just might.
