When you work on something on the side the constant dipping in and out of it can make you wonder how long it will take to actually get there. Then you have a full day like today and yesterday and you remember just how much you can actually get done with a bit of focus.
It’s been two lovely days working on byflock. Many of the things that have been lagging behind and waiting to get organised have been done. I’ve had some proper head space to get deep into defining and phasing one of our products, really thinking through functionality and objectives. What do we actually need for launch. What can wait. What are the differentiators.
Tomorrow I’m back in the office on my day job and it’s going to be nice. As much as I don’t work my best in front of a desk all day long, I’m looking forward to talking through the project I’m working on in there with the team. After all, some work alone time combined with collaboration is when I’m at my best and I’ve missed that these two days. Another reason why I wouldn’t enjoy working on byflock as much had I not had my co-founder.
Tomorrow – Day 116 | I dream of the day when we’ll have walls
