Last week was a good reminder of the need to get my prioritise straight. It’s fine once in a while to break them but long term I need to stick to a few simple principles, or this won’t work.
1. Getting a good night’s sleep, time off and doing regular exercise
All things that easily give when the going gets tough, but it’s the critical three. Unless I get the sleep, time off and exercise that I need, there won’t be a very productive, clear thinking or useful me so getting these need to be on top of the agenda, all the time.
2. byFlock is my priority, now and long term
byFlock is what I’ve committed to and it needs to be reflected in how I prioritise the time I spend working. Working late ours as a freelance is fine once in a while but it can’t be something I do on a regular basis. It simply doesn’t work.
