It’s been another productive week where we’ve refined the ideas further and started talking in more detail about the formalities of this whole thing. Something tangible is starting to take shape and what’s to come next is the most exciting, so far.
The ideas
On Tuesday we were supposed to test the ideas, but a cancellation meant that we spent the evening working on them instead. Since then we’ve settled on which ones to begin with and early sketches together with the slides I included in Day 023 | Thoughts have been really useful tools to helps us think through and refine each idea. We now got a clear picture of the core of each one as well as the different aspects around the mechanics of them that we need to investigate.
Formalities
This week we also started talking about the practicalities of this “thing” we’re starting and since Day 025 we’ve taken the topic further. There’s always a risk, or worry, before you talk things through properly, that perhaps you’re not actually on the same page. The more we talk, the more reassuring it is to hear that we are. It goes for the little things like where to meet up to work together to how we see it working, the involvement of other people and to the paper work that we need to have in order.
Next steps
This is where it starts getting interesting. With the ideas narrowed down, a tangible deadline and a plan coming together of what we need to do, there’s a lot to get properly stuck into. We can start to divide up the work and go away and explore different aspects and with that more progress will also be made.
