For work and life situations much inspiration can be taken from Sport. Many of the athletes who are competing here have been training for years and to make it all the way requires not only talent but real dedication and a massive support team who can help you along the way.
The athlete is the front figure and without a doubt the person who’s working the hardest, but all the people behind them should not be forgotten. Without those people few athletes would probably make it. No matter how strong we are individually we will always be stronger with a team behind us. And the incredible success that Team GB is having goes to show for that. Seeing Jessica Ennis and Mo Farah win gold in the respective sports on Saturday was absolutely amazing. Both of them spoke of the massive support from family and friends and everyone who’s help make it happen but they also spoke of what competing in front of a home crowd has given. Hearing all of those people in the Olympic Stadium and other venues cheer on you must be an amazing feeling and as Jess mentioned after sprinting and overtaking her competitors in the final metres of the 10,000m, it can definitely give you a bit of extra energy to give it all.
