I know a lot of brilliant people and I keep getting to know even more brilliant people. Meeting people and networking is something I really love and it’s important for byflock and my personal goals. Only thing is that it’s also the hardest to keep going at the moment.
My workload in the day job is so intense that I hardly have time to check personal emails during lunch, even less so respond to any. If I was just freelancing that would be less of a worry but pursuing my own goals and working on byflock it’s proving very difficult to stay on top of the things I need to stay on top of (part of the frustration I mentioned yesterday).
I have people contacting me wanting to catch up and hear more about byflock, which is great (so keep them coming), but right now there aren’t physical hours in the day. It’s a no brainer but the more I get into this the more it’s becoming clear to me that I need a setup that allows for more flexibility. A setup that can allow me to get up early and work so that I can meet someone for lunch and have the chats that need to happen. And I definitely can’t work full time on a day job 5 days a week.
