SXSW was the first conference I’ve been to in a while that had a large variety of people from different disciplines attending. From a learning and networking aspects those are the events that at the moment provide us with the greatest value.
Getting a bit more insight into trends and capabilities of new technology, learning what you can and can’t do and talking to other people who are equally passionate about what they do is incredibly rewarding. It opens your mind and allows you to think of new opportunities or ways to bring something to life. It’s one of the reasons we’re starting to attend more cross-discipline events. The other is that we are looking for a likeminded technical person here in London. We’ll share more information down the line but by all means get in contact if, from this very vague sentence, this sounds like you.
