Last week I wrote about getting my priorities straight and having the long weekend to catch up on them has been a great reminder of what a difference some time off, getting a good night’s sleep and fitting exercise into your daily routine makes.
All of those are things that I know I need to prioritise, not just to be healthy but to function. I know the negative effect on my mood, ability to concentrate and get things done if I don’t, and I know I get p’ed off with myself and work commitments if I don’t get them in. Number one, I should know better and prioritse them and two, work should never compromise the things that are vital in life. And those things are. So, I’m going to prioritise being a better me.
