This week has been one of reflecting and remembering. Remembering why I got into this in the first place, what I need to establish and stick to in order to make it work and what it is about all of this that really makes me excited.
Starting talking to people about our company, what we’re about and what we’re working on is making all of this feel more real, but also in a strange way further away. There’s so much to do and at times I wonder how it’s all going to get done. Not in the sense of will it happen, but more of when will it happen. I’m a do’er and I want things done now. Anything else is taking a little too long for me. I never have been very patient and I doubt I ever properly will be. But, I’m working on it and this week, with a bit of time off for Easter, has been a good, reflecting week.
On day 094 I mentioned that I’ve started to want to read, and have read, some of the post I’ve written before. Some are like giving myself a little pep talk. I read the post from Day 011 | To blog or not to blog and also the first ever post I wrote – Day 001 | Setting sail – and remember how I during Christmas was discussing with my brother Johan that I’d decided to go for it and write these posts as a document of the journey. I’m really glad I did. Both documenting this, but that I decided to go for it. I’ve been wanting to do this for a very long time and 2012 is about making it happen.
