This has been a very interesting week starting with everything feeling a bit unmanageable to ending on a very positive note.
Returning from a brilliant but full on trip, starting a new job as well as catching up with friends, family and all the stuff that comes with being away for nearly two weeks, it’s safe to say that it was a bit of an overwhelming start to the week.
Coming back from SXSW I’ve been on a high, wanting to go full steam ahead to make byFlock into our vision as soon as possible. Patience has never been my strong side and when I’ve decided something I want it now, or ideally yesterday. But, as much as I came flying into this week (pun intended) I’ve also landed with both feet on the ground (second pun also intended). The catch up on Thursday together with our accountant meeting and working session yesterday have provided me with the focus, reassurance and calmness that we can go head at a good and steady pace, a little like a pleasant long run, rather than with too intensive and frequent sprints, which is the state of mind I’d gotten myself into.
We have a very strong vision of what byFlock is, how it should operate and what the core principles are. With a a set focus for the next few months we got a clear steer that will allow us to progress in a way that ensures that byFlock becomes just that.
